Over 500 Hofstra students gathered at the Hofstra USA, North Campus to record the chorus of "song of love" written for 14-year-old Alexa Ayala who is battling non-hogkins lymphoma.
The event was sponsored by Hofstra Hillel - The Center for Jewish Life on Campus, Inter-Fraternity and Sorority Council, and the Student Government Association. Scott Curran, a member of the Million Dollar Round Table, a premier association of financial professionals, was also on hand to present Songs of Love founder John Beltzer with a check for 25,000 from the MDRT Foundation. The mission of MDRT Foundation is to increase member and industry participation and to give funds to worthwhile charitable organizations throughout the world.
