The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center Honors Songs of Love

The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center recently sponsored a series of six free concerts by the Orion String Quartet at New York's Lincoln Center. The project, called "Beethoven 2000," was conceived as a gift to the city of New York. Songs of Love was chosen as one of six nonprofit music organizations to be honored by the Society. After a two hour performance of Beethoven music, Songs of Love founder John Beltzer and Chamber Music Society composer Bruce Adolphe stepped out on stage and lead the crowd in the live recording of a "Song of Love" for Jenny Schneider. The Orion String quartet, with Mary Nessinger on Vocal, Meighan Stoops on Clarinet and the audience members all contributed to this incredible event.
