"Street Texting" Video Campaign Kicks Off!

The Songs of Love Foundation will be featuring people from all over America in a series of videos that will show individuals proudly exclaiming how they just donated to Songs of Love by texting in their $5 or $10 donations! Dear Songs of Love and Bryan Tilford,

We just wanted to express our sincere thanks for the wonderful song you wrote and sang for our 4-year-old son, Tyler. He absolutely loves it!. The lyrics are absolutely fantastic - they fit together perfectly and capture who Tyler is. His song actually arrived just a little bit before Christmas, and so he opened it Christmas morning. It was such a personalized, original gift for him. He played it for everyone he saw, making sure he took it to Grandma's house to play for all of his cousins. We played it over and over. . . He now refers to it as "The Tyler Song", and is often seen dancing and singing along to it. We all know most of the words now, and so we all have a blast singing the song together. We've said many times that thought this isn't the road we would have chosen for Tyler (having cancer). God has placed some special caring people in our lives (like yourselves) that otherwise we wouldn't have known about. May God bless you in all your endeavors!

Dear Nathan and Becky,

On behalf on Gwyneth, my husband and I want to thank you for the most beautiful song we have ever heard! Not only were the vocals and music wonderful, but the words truly captured the essence of Gwyneth. We all cried when we heard the song for the first time and listened to it over and over again. Now Gwyneth plays it on her portable CD player and takes it wherever she goes! She is still amazed when she listens to the song about all the wonderful things she likes to do, especially about the chocolate chips and icing. This road we have been on the past year has not been an easy one, however the intense love and care as well as the time and expense put into Gwyneth's song has truly touched our hearts and provided our family a very positive experience which we will never forget. Your music and song for Gwyneth has truly been medicine to our soul! Thank you!!!

Zackary McGowan

In March of this year, longtime songwriter of love Carl Allocco wrote a song for Zackary McGowan, a 7-year old boy battling Neurofibromatosis. In May, we received a newspaper clipping in the mail detailing a display that Zackary put up at his local SunTrust Bank in Mebane, North Carolina. The display was dedicated to raising funds for Songs of Love! Immediately upon reading this article, we called Zackary to thank him, and quickly felt the warmth of his big heart. Featured Songs of Love Child - Cole Harris (Fall 2009 Newsletter)

Two-year-old Cole Harris lives in Illinois with his mother, father, and new baby brother Jack. He loves all his family, including his cousin Corin, Grandma Beth and Grandma Sally, and his Poppa Chuck, who all provide an incredible amount of love and support as he battles retinoblastoma. He is an active child who is on the go "from the moment he wakes up until the moment he goes to bed," and loves to read every night. The letter below was sent in by his parents.
